In this blog you will see the different assignments I worked through in my 668 class! With said class we were tasked with picking an issue (political, social, global, personal, etc.) and creating art centered around it with research to back it all up. I dabbled between greed and death as my topics, but wound up mostly centering around death, as it is a topic I have never felt able to center my ideas around. In most scenarios I would try to discuss this topic or create something inspired by my thought process centering around death and would either be told to instead "make something pretty" or that it was too grotesque and can't be displayed. So the opportunity to work within this topic was greatly appreciated and I can't thank Professor Silva enough for the amazing semester.
